It's Snowing and I had to use the Shovel, NOOOO!

I can't believe that were into November? We had the first real good snow storm yesterday, t11/5/08. I was a little surprised when I opened the door in the morning to let Newman outside. I can only wonder what Newman was thinking.

It was a great day to have to drive the truck to work, I was happy for the 4 wheel drive, but I had to clear it off.
I grab the shovel and cleared the walk's and driveway. It was really snowing hard, the news was saying it was all lake effect snow. They must have been right because there wasn't any snow when I got into the office.

But after a full day in the office things really changed. It snowed all day and sometimes it was beautiful as the big Flakes were tumbling from the sky. I watched out my office window as the trees collected the snow and changed color.
 

The sun is out today and the thaw is on, it looks like the trees are alive as they sun warms the leaves and limbs and the snow falls to the ground.

I hope that it continues as I have a golf tournament on Saturday at Thanksgiving Point. I think we will be ok as the weather is support to be in the high 50's Friday and Saturday.

Thanks to mother nature for letting us know that winter time is here and that it's time to get the ski's out of the basement and get the lights on the house.
