Halloween Party at Dad's

Sunday night was the pumpkin carving and Halloween party at dad's house. It was a lot of fun and a lot of kids all dressed up. Dad's yard looked so great and decorated to please all the trick or treaters. Dinner was served of Finger dogs with blood "ketchup" and Brain burgers "sloppy joes". The weather was awesome, I hope it can last a few more days. I will post all the photos on the web. Dad's house will be the stop of the neighborhood on Halloween.

Brent visits - Chuck a Rama Lunch with Dad, Brent, Lewis and family

Brent was able to stay over a weekend  from his work trip in San Francisco. He stayed at dad's for a night and Jill and I got to meet Brent, Dad and Vicki, Lewis, Kendra and family at Chuck a Rama on 400 South in Salt Lake. The kids were cute and fun and it was good to see Brent and Lewis and family. Everyone knows how Brent loves to get his scones and honey butter.

Brent went with Lewis and family bowling and then he was off to mom's in Mt. Pleasant for the night, Church, lunch and back to Lewis's for the night and fly out early Monday morning for PA.

Jill and I got to go with Dad and Vicki to Gardeners Village for some craft shopping. It was really busy and lots of people dressed up like witches and other costumes. Jill loves the Christmas decorations and was able to find some pretty cute things. It was a beautiful day, amazing for late October.

Racquetball Results - Jill Starts Masters Program Jan 2009

Well the tournament didn't go very good. I won two matches and lost 2 matches, but not good enough to move to the finals. It was fun and I made some good shots and gained some experience for the next one I play in. Back to playing my 6am business man's league at the Redwood Rec Center.  Jill was able to come and watch, which made it great to have her support and a cheering section. Jill met with the School councilor and is ready to start the University of Phoenix Master program in January of 2009. Not much of break, but I know she is going to do great! Three years will pass fast and she will be all done. Well, if I know my  Jill she will be working on her PHD next... I'm so proud of her!

Well back to a busy week at the office, Brent will be in town this weekend and were looking forward to meeting him at Chuck a Rama on Saturday. He is at a conference in San Francisco this week and gets to stay over a couple days and visit the family.

New Day/New blog Post from my new laptop

I got a new laptop and I'm trying a new post on the blog. It's pretty cool that it signs in and gives me a format to type an entry to.

By the way the laptop is a Dell M1330 XPS. It's pretty cool so far.

I'm off to my first Racquetball tournament tonight, wish me luck.

Jill is off setting up her dates to start the University of Phoenix Masters program. Pretty awesome that Jill graduated with her Bachalors and a straight A student. Awesome!
